Our last adventure was a visit to the Museum of Science and Nature and then dinner at Casa Bonita.
While we have been to lots of Natural History museums, the dioramas at this museum were spectacular. When you stand back and look at them, it is hard to tell where the background painting begins. Here are pictures of a few of our favorites.
Next stop, Casa Bonita. I must admit that the atmosphere was fun but the food... well, in today's world you can find elsewhere much more authentic Mexican food. But those sopiapillas, they were just as good as I remember from the Casa Bonita restaurant that was in Oklahoma City a long time ago. Yum!!!
It is time to say good-bye to Denver and head up the mountains to Woodland Park for a month. But it sure was a fun vacation!
