After leaving the Tin Smith's Wife yarn shop in Comfort, I decided we needed to take a different road home through the countryside. We came upon this gate and once again my car stopped quickly. Here was another photo opportunity!
Best that we could tell this is some kind of a horse training facility. There was no name on the gate, only a sign that said that anyone who enters is under the Inherent Equine Risk Law...hm, sounds like a dangerous place! We weren't brave enough to drive on in. Oh well, must leave something to do for next year!
By the way, the fence on each side of the massive stone wall was just an old barbed wire fence. Only in Texas!
