As Linda, Juanette and I were headed back to Blanco, Juanette spotted a beautiful old railroad bridge off to the right. It just so happened that there was a road turning that direction so we zipped down it.
This bridge is no longer in use and is on private property so we couldn't climb on it, but pictures we did take! I stayed in the car as of course the best place to park was right in front of the sign that said No Parking.
When we drove around the bend, the bridge just kept getting bigger so another stop was needed for more pictures. Running under the bridge was the prettiest stream banked with stately old cypress trees. It is not every day that you happen upon such a treasure as this old bridge.
